Is there someone in your family or a loved one that you have lost contact with? Many families are affected by a missing person not being around to share the special moments in their lives.

A poor relationship, and lack of communication can result in a missing person ‘dropping off the radar’, if someone moves without a forwarding address then those involved will lose contact.

It is difficult to officially know how many missing persons there are in the UK, as many families do not report them. Some people will simply drift from the family unit, and so may not be officially deemed as a missing person.

Trace Missing Persons

In order for us to help you, we would need basic personal information that would help us start the search. This would be the full name of the missing person, date of birth and last known address. The information will allow us to verify that we are searching for the correct missing person. Additional information that will assist with the missing person trace will be their family history, for example a brief family tree, or any previous relationships.

Our researchers trace missing people pro-actively using our people search databases, including Electoral Roll and our own Tracesmart Register; we also have access to Birth Records, Death Records and Marriage Records that date back to 1837. This wealth of information will enable us to easily trace your missing person.
