Landline screening within IDU®
IDU® incorporates landline verification as part of the identity screening process. The landline verification feature will conduct a live check and return a variety of key details, helping you to identify inaccurate information.
- Phone status – we can indicate whether a landline number is active or not; should an individual provide you with an inactive number, it might suggest something untoward.
- Geographic location – the landline verification will identify the name of the area the number is associated with, and the locality and postcode of the exchange serving it. You can then cross reference this information against the other provided details and highlight any discrepancies.
- Provider – the name of the telecoms provider is also provided, the information can be used in corroborative questioning should you have suspicions.
Our landline verification feature is also available in TraceIQ® – employed to aid fraud investigation, and our range of data cleansing solutions – allowing you to identify inactive numbers in your consumer database. Our mobile verification service is also available via these solutions.
